  • Scott Weingarten, MD, MPH

    Chief Executive Officer

    Scott Weingarten, MD, MPH, is the Acting Chief Executive Officer at Stanson Health. Board certified in internal medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Weingarten has published approximately 100 articles and editorials on healthcare quality improvement and related topics, and has authored numerous chapters on improving the quality of patient care in some of the leading internal medicine textbooks. He has given more than 300 presentations on clinical decision support and related topics throughout the United States and internationally. Dr. Weingarten has held positions on myriad national committees dedicated to improving patient outcomes, including those of the Institute for Medical Quality, the American Heart Association’s "Get With The Guidelines" program, and the quality improvement committee of the board of directors of St. Joseph's Health System. He served as a member of the Disease Management Advisory Committee of the National Committee for Quality Assurance, and was part of the Certification Process Advisory Group for the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology. Dr. Weingarten was the co-founder, president and chief executive officer of Zynx Health, which is now the market share leader for order sets and care plans. He is a co-inventor of three software patents granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. After graduating from UCLA’s medical school, Dr. Weingarten completed his internship, residency and fellowship in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai. He later participated in a National Center for Health Services Research Fellowship at the RAND/UCLA Center for Health Policy Study. During the fellowship, he also earned a master’s of Public Health degree at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.

  • Alex Tatiyants

    Chief Technology Officer

    Alex Tatiyants is the Chief Technology Officer at Stanson Health. In this role, he's responsible for the overall product vision as well as all aspects of product development including design, implementation, and support. Prior to Stanson Health, Mr. Tatiyants was the Director of Technology at Zynx Health. At Zynx, he led software development efforts across all product lines including AuthorSpace, a web-based Component Content Management System (CCMS) for structured medical content. Mr. Tatiyants holds a bachelor degree in computer science from UCLA and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

  • Ryan M. Nellis

    Chief Commercial Operations Officer

    Ryan Nellis is the Chief Commercial Operations Officer at Stanson Health. Ryan brings over 10 years of experience in health care and has held various sales leadership roles during periods of rapid growth in the health care markets. Ryan joins Stanson from Optum, a subsidiary of United Health Group (NYSE: UNH). At Optum, Ryan led teams selling multi-million dollar software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions into the provider and payer markets. Prior to Optum, Ryan was part of the original sales team at Humedica and was instrumental in helping Humedica grow to record sales. Humedica was acquired by Optum in 2013. Prior to Humedica, Ryan held positions with McKesson (NYSE: MCK) and GE Healthcare (NYSE: GE). He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

  • Catrina Funk, MD, MBA

    Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Catrina Funk is the Chief Medical Officer at Stanson Health, a clinical decision support company focused on revolutionizing how clinicians use technology to deliver evidence-based care. Catrina works collaboratively providing support to customers from sales through implementation & ongoing customer success. Additionally, she works closely with the Stanson Health clinical product team & data scientists to ensure the health systems we serve are receiving maximum value from our tools in a fashion that enhances the end-user’s experience.

    Dr. Funk has a deep background in population health & value-based care delivery. Catrina was an early leader in physician-led initiatives to achieve the triple aim at MultiCare Health System as Medical Director of Care Management. In that role, she directed strategy & operations for inpatient utilization & coordination of care across the continuum. She collaborated with providers, payors & national quality improvement organizations such as the IHI on effective use of data & provider risk contracting. Prior to joining Stanson, Catrina worked at McKesson (Medventive) where she partnered with operations, data & clinical team members on new content, product framework & new business development opportunities for population health & utilization management tools.

    Dr. Catrina Funk completed her undergraduate studies at Colorado State University, Medical School at the University of Oklahoma, residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Michigan State University & her MBA at the University of Tennessee. Catrina has been able to incorporate her passions for medicine & travel by participating in multiple medical mission trips throughout the world. Most recently her focus has been on training clinicians in emergency obstetrics care & pediatric resuscitation in Kabul Afghanistan & South Sudan with her partner Jeff, an Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Hospitalist. They spent the Spring 2015 & 2016 semesters circumnavigating the globe with Semester at Sea as shipboard physicians.

  • Andrew W. Dahl, Sc.D

    VP, Development

    Andrew Dahl is Vice President of Development at Stanson Health. Dr. Dahl has had a diverse career spanning both the payer and provider segments of the healthcare industry. On the health systems side Andy has held senior executive positions at St. John Health and Hospital Corporation in Detroit, Fairview Health Services and The University of Minnesota, HCA, and Creighton-Alegent Health in Omaha. Dr. Dahl was CEO of Evolution Benefits (The Benny Card). He served as CEO of HealthNet, Inc. a Kansas City based non-profit health plan. He was CEO of IntegraMed, Inc. where he took the company public on the NASDAQ. Andy has made a commitment to helping educate the next generation of healthcare leaders; was Associate Professor of Community Medicine at Wayne State University Medical School, and is currently on the faculty of Cornell University as Senior Lecturer in the Sloan Program in Health Administration. Dr. Dahl received his Sc.D. from The Johns Hopkins University, M.P.A. from Cornell, and is also a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives.

  • Marika Repasi

    Director, Finance and Administration

    Marika E. Repasi is the Director of Finance and Administration at Stanson Health. In addition to all finance and administration functions, Ms. Repasi also oversees human resources and operations. Prior to Stanson Health, Ms. Repasi was a president and founder of Delos Enterprises Inc., a consulting firm serving small businesses in aerospace, private banking, and hospitality industries. She was also one of the first employees at Zynx Health where she served as a Controller for nine years. Ms. Repasi has a bachelor's degree from the College of Finance and Accountancy, Budapest, Hungary.

  • Thomas Priselac, MPH

    Mr. Priselac is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cedars-Sinai Health System. He has held this position since January 1994. The Cedars-Sinai Health System is among the nation's leading providers of health services, graduate and continuing medical education services and medical research. Mr. Priselac came to Cedars-Sinai in 1979. Prior to being named President and CEO, Mr. Priselac served as Executive Vice President since 1988. Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Mr. Priselac was on the executive staff of Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Priselac holds an MPH from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Priselac is a past Chair of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Board of Trustees and he is a past chair of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). He formerly served as past Chair of the Council of Teaching Hospitals of the AAMC, The California Healthcare Association, the Healthcare Association of Southern California and the Healthcare Committee of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he previously served on the Board of Directors of VHA, Inc., the National Committee for Quality Healthcare, the California Healthcare Foundation and Blue Cross of California. He lectures extensively at professional meetings and universities on varied aspects of healthcare delivery and leadership.

  • Edward Prunchunas

    Edward Prunchunas has served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since 1998. Having previously served as an Associate Director of Finance and Director of Finance from 1981 to 1983, Mr. Prunchunas rejoined Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 1993 as Vice President of Finance. Mr. Prunchunas has previous service as Chief Financial Officer at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Northridge, California, and as a member of the consulting staff of the accounting firm Ernst & Ernst (now known as Cap Gemini Ernst & Young). Mr. Prunchunas is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Past President of the HFMA Southern California Chapter and has held regional and national positions with HFMA. He currently serves as a Board Member of the California Hospital Association. Mr. Prunchunas earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting, with an emphasis in mathematics and computer science, from University of Illinois.

  • Loran D. Hauck, MD

    Loran Hauck, M.D., is senior vice president of clinical effectiveness and chief medical officer for Adventist Health System. He is responsible for providing physician leadership, oversight and direction for multiple Adventist Health System Corporate Clinical Initiatives. Dr. Hauck previously served as president and chief executive officer of Sunbelt Medical Management and medical director of Gordon Hospital. From 1989-1995, Dr. Hauck was medical director for Loma Linda Faculty Medical Group, Inc. Dr. Hauck received his pre-medical education from Walla Walla College and Atlantic Union College. He graduated with honors from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

  • Darren Dworkin

    Darren Dworkin is Senior Vice President of Enterprise Information Systems and Chief Information Officer of the Cedars-Sinai Health System in Los Angeles, California. A native of Montreal, Canada, Mr. Dworkin has spent over 20 years in information technology and over 12 in healthcare. At Cedars-Sinai he has led the implementation of a comprehensive electronic medical record to help transform care through the use of advanced technology. Day to day Mr. Dworkin leads the strategy and technology operations of both the information and clinical technology teams. Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Mr. Dworkin held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA. Were he led the development and deployment of the infrastructure and application framework to bring technology to the point of care. Mr. Dworkin has been a leader helping major information technology vendors bring solutions to the healthcare vertical enabling improvements in workflow, quality and value.
